Acts 13:22 In a generation where the overwhelming majority seek for wealth, influence and other gains, desiring the things of God has never been more important.
The Lord truly has blessing in store for each of us, but if our hearts desire is for what God can give us, then we have totally missed the point of God’s redemption plan. Jesus suffered in every way humanly possible to give us the opportunity to enjoy God alone.
Joy and happiness is not based upon material things we possess, or even the blessings that God provides to us, but as David declared, In thy presence is fullness of joy. (Psalm 16:11) Knowing the Father
God’s heart is Love. If you are seeking to love the world without partiality, then you have taken upon you God’s heart. If you can look beyond someone’s faults and love them regardless, then you have tapped into the heart of God.
God’s desire is to win the lost souls that are headed for destruction in Hell. If you are seeking to win souls, then you have taken upon you the heart of God.
