The Biblical Origin of Homosexuality
I would dare to say that this is one of the most controversial subjects of our generation. Many people in the church do not want to deal with it. Many of today’s preachers refuse to address it behind their pulpits, and many Christians don’t want to speak about it because they don’t know how to deal with it. It’s definitely a very touchy subject, but I think as Christians, we can speak biblically on the subject while at the same time approaching the subject so as to separate the sin from the sinner like we do all others. We’ve been able to love the drug addict while condemning the drugs he/she is bound to.
This bible study is the product of the Spirit of God taking me down the path to study the origin of homosexuality. It started several years back when homosexuality became so accepted and open in America under the Obama presidency. People began to talk about it in public as never before. Employers started making provisions in the workplace as well as developing workplace policies for the acceptance of homosexual employees.
When I was growing up, there were very few people we knew who were homosexual. Today, my guess is all of us know someone who is openly in a homosexual relationship, or even someone in your family. When homosexuality came close into my family, I began to be concerned. I wondered where it would migrate to, or even come into my home to my children or grandchildren. I had a thousand questions. I can honestly say that the unbelieving world has painted a picture that the church world rejects those who are engaged in this type of relationship, but this could not be further from the truth. The religious world might reject homosexuals, bisexuals, transgenders, etc., but God’s true genuine church does not. We love all sinners; after all we’ve all sinned and come short of the glory of God. It is absolutely biblical that we take the same stance as God Himself; hate the sin but love those who sin.
As I was in prayer in a particular evening and very burdened about the subject, the Holy Spirit asked me a question as He does when He is about to take me on a learning adventure, “Can a person be born a homosexual?” As I pondered the question, I was reminded of the many things I had heard from people in regards to the subject. Some Christians would say “No that’s impossible.” Unbelievers would agree it was possible and even agree that a person being born that way is the case in all examples of homosexuality. A few Christians in my particular circles would say things like “Even though we are born into sin, the sin of homosexuality cannot be one of those.” Deep inside my very being, I felt as though homosexuality was different than original sin we are born with a nature to, but I just did not have the Bible knowledge to substantiate my claims. Well at least until the Holy Spirit took me on a journey in the scriptures.
As devastating as sin is to all of us, we must come to grips with the fact that a homosexual lifestyle is unnatural. All of creation is perpetuated by the male and female union in which God’s command to “Be fruitful and multiply” is spoken.
God condemned Homosexual lifestyle in a few places in Old Testament scripture; namely:
Leviticus 18:22 and Leviticus 20:13
Leviticus 18:22 Thou shalt not lie with mankind, as with womankind: it is abomination.
Leviticus 20:13 If a man also lie with mankind, as he lieth with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination: they shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.
While many religious people in our generation would argue that God has changed His mind on many things concerning this topic since we are all under grace, let us understand that the New Testament also rejects the notion of God’s Old Testament stance on homosexuality; namely
Romans 1, 1 Timothy 1:9-10, 1 Corinthians 6:9-12
1 Timothy 1:9-10, Knowing this, that the law is not made for a righteous man, but for the lawless and disobedient, for the ungodly and for sinners, for unholy and profane, for murderers of fathers and murderers of mothers, for manslayers, {1:10} For whoremongers, for them that defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and if there be any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine;
1 Corinthians 6:9-11 Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind, Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. And such were some of you: but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
The phrases “them that defile themselves with mankind” and “abusers of themselves with mankind” both come from the same Greek word G733 pronounced ar-sen-ok-oy’-tace, ἀρσενοκοίτης, -ου, ὁ, (ἄρσην a male; κοίτη a bed), one who lies with a male as with a female, a sodomite:–homosexual.
However, we also see there is a perversion of this commandment in the fall of humanity. Man’s natural desires and affections have been so perverted and polluted by his rejection and rebellion to God. As a matter of fact, the case can be made from the bible alone that sexual perversion is a singular characteristic result to our rejection or apostacy to God Himself.
A few examples:
- Aaron and the Golden Calf
When the Israelites were in the Wilderness and Moses on the Mountain in Exodus 32, Israel deliberately forsook God and demanded Aaron “up make us gods, which shall go before us…” in the next few verses we read that after Aaron took of the golden earrings and made the molten calf, they said “These be thy gods, O Israel, which brought thee up out of the land of Egypt.” The people then the next morning rose early to celebrate their new heathen idol gods and “rose up to play” which means they indulged themselves in sexual perversion.
- Israelites in the days of Balaam
Numbers 25:1 And Israel abode in Shittim, and the people began to commit whoredom with the daughters of Moab. And they called the people unto the sacrifices of their gods; and the people did eat, and bowed down to their gods.
This whoredom came as a result of Balaam teaching Balak how to cast a stumbling block before the children of Israel. Balaam plainly told Balak, you’ll never be able to defeat the Children of Israel unless you separate them from their God. Then at once the children of Israel were separated from God, and started bowing down to other idols, sexual perversion resulted.
- Sodom and Gomorrah
Genesis 19:4 But before they lay down, the men of the city, even the men of Sodom, compassed the house round, both old and young, all the people from every quarter:
And they called unto Lot, and said unto him, Where are the men which came in to thee this night? bring them out unto us, that we may know them.
Know comes from Strongs H3045 – yada – יָדַע to know intimately, to get acquainted with; fig. to have sexual intercourse with.
And Lot went out at the door unto them, and shut the door after him,
And said, I pray you, brethren, do not so wickedly.
Behold now, I have two daughters which have not known man; let me, I pray you, bring them out unto you, and do ye to them as is good in your eyes: only unto these men do nothing; for therefore came they under the shadow of my roof.
While the path to homosexuality is not clear from the Genesis account of the cities of Sodom and Gomorrah, we do recognize homosexuality was prominent there. According to the Lord’s visitation to Abram, it is clear that homosexuality marked a level of wickedness in the cities that demanded sudden judgment. However, if the following outline in Romans chapter 1 is the path to the origin of Homosexuality, then we will have a greater understanding as to how Sodom and Gomorrah arrived there.
ROMANS 1 Moral Decline into Homosexuality
I want you to pay very close attention to the following verses in Romans chapter 1. This chapter exposes, not only the sexual perversion of mankind and the fact that it is indeed against the nature of God, but how this perversion materializes. These verses outline the cause and effect of rejection of God. Although there are many different ways rejection of God could be manifested, it is sexual perversion that is brought to the forefront on full display. Please follow along with the Scriptures in Romans 1 here and my comments on each verse to see clearly how the moral breakdown, in particularly in America, has come.
Before we dive in, we must understand that before God will hold mankind accountable for his sin and demand repentance, there must first be a clear awareness of sin. God has said in His word that “and the time of this ignorance God winked at, but now commandeth all men every where to repent.” Acts 17:30 So we understand that God withholds judgment where there is no knowledge. But after the knowledge of sin comes, then accountability comes.
1:16 For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.
Commentary:
The gospel of Christ is the power of God. When the gospel is preached, the door to salvation is opened. The preaching of the Gospel is one way in which God draws a sinner. John 6:44. Everyone then that receives through faith at the hearing of the gospel experiences the power of God. It is to the Jew first, meaning, God has ordained that the Jews are part of this salvation plan but are not exclusive to the plan. Paul will go on to express that this plan also includes the Greek; gentiles. All are included; no one is excluded. While both chapter 1 and chapter 2 of Romans reveals the depravity that all are under sin, (chapter 1 declaring the sinfulness of the gentile world) (chapter 2 dealing with the sinfulness of the Jewish world) this verse reveals that all (both Jews and Gentiles) are included in God’s redemption plan.
1:17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.
Commentary:
This verse begins the thought of two things revealed from Heaven. The first thing revealed from Heaven is the Righteousness of God. This verse declares God’s plan from the very beginning. Salvation does not come from lineage, but by faith. In this letter, we see Paul’s clear message throughout; even in the troublesome chapters 9-11 which so many people want to twist. This plan is all based upon faith; not in a certain people. It’s based upon one’s trust in Christ’s atoning work at Calvary, not in a certain group of people God has “chosen” to be saved and the rest to be damned. What a foolish error this teaching has provoked!
Faith to faith? That seems a little redundant. Let’s break it down.
As it is written…The just shall live by faith. This phrase is taken from Habakkuk 2:4.
The just shall live by faith. Don’t skip this powerful truth. The word “shall” strongly tells us there is no choice. The Just shall (will, must) live by faith! There’s no option. There’s no maybe. We have no choice but to walk by faith.
Who are the just? The just are those who have been justified. We will explain in more detail the subject of justification. But for now, we must understand that no one is justified (made righteous) in the eyes of God apart from faith. So justification comes by faith. The just, then, are those who have exhibited the first part of this “faith to faith.” Then the verse continues on to say the “just” shall live by “faith.”
The righteousness of God is revealed from “faith to faith.” God reveals His righteousness through, not only those who receive Christ by faith, but when we, the just, live (walk) in faith. So in essence, righteousness is instantly received by faith. And then, we continue to walk everyday in that righteousness over sin as we continue to believe God or walk by faith. Faith is the means in which we obtain righteousness. Faith is the means in which we walk in righteousness. It’s really that simple.
This verse ties in perfectly with Romans 8:1 where Paul declares there to be no condemnation to those who are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh but after the spirit.
This verse is nothing short of the entire theological theme of the book of Romans.
1:18 For the wrath of God is revealed from heaven against all ungodliness and unrighteousness of men, who hold the truth in unrighteousness;
Commentary:
This verse continues the understanding that something else is revealed from Heaven; namely the wrath of God. So to be clear, there are two things revealed from Heaven; the righteousness of God and the wrath of God.
Continuing Paul’s thoughts, it is not a predetermined people, who having done neither right or wrong that brings God’s wrath, but their ungodliness and unrighteousness.
What does it mean to hold the truth in unrighteousness? The word hold comes from G2722, pronounced kat-ekh’-o which means to hold down (fast), in various applications: — have, hold fast, keep in memory, let, X make toward, possess, retain, seize on, stay, take, withhold.
This literally means that a person withholds the truth from taking effect in their life. In essence they are rejecting truth that they know to be truth. They are deliberately refusing to acknowledge or obey the truth that has been revealed to them. More specifically, the person knows full well that they are living in sin and some level of rebellion against the ways of God, but refuses to repent and come to the Lord forsaking their sin.
1:19 Because that which may be known of God is manifest in them; for God hath shewed it unto them.
Commentary:
Clearly from this verse we must understand that God deals personally with each individual the knowledge of Himself. The knowledge of God is manifest in them; i.e., revealed in them. God plainly shows each person so that they are without excuse.
1:20 For the invisible things of him from the creation of the world are clearly seen, being understood by the things that are made, even his eternal power and Godhead; so that they are without excuse:
Commentary:
This verse states in more detail how God has chosen, among other means, to reveal He is God the Creator. Creation itself is a preacher to the lost and unbelieving.
Psalm 19:1 The heavens declare (publish, preach) the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth (reveals) his handywork. Day unto day uttereth speech (creation is trying to communicate with humanity of a Creator), and night unto night sheweth knowledge (reveals the understanding necessary for you to believe God exists). There is no speech or language, where their voice (the voice of creation) is not heard. The wonder of creation demands a Creator.
These are just a few ways God has revealed Himself to humanity. He draws people to Himself by His Word, by His Spirit. He has shown Himself real to many people by many infallible proofs. Some people have no excuse. Now that knowledge has come, accountability is demanded.
1:21 Because that, when they knew God, they glorified him not as God, neither were thankful; but became vain in their imaginations, and their foolish heart was darkened.
Commentary:
In this verse we see how the moral decline begins. Listen carefully to the text. When they “knew God.” This means, those who have either been born again or had enough of the knowledge of God revealed to them that they “know” God the Creator is real. This level of knowledge requires a response from the Lord for them to come to Him. However, the response in this verse is sadly tragic. These people who “know God” made the worst decision imaginable. They “Glorified him not as God, neither were thankful, but became vain in their imaginations.” And because of this evil response, their foolish heart was darkened. This verse teaches us that we must beware how we handle the knowledge of God that we possess because God does not reveal Himself for no reason. He reveals Himself to all of us so that we come to him; accept him. The people in this verse clearly had the Almighty God of Heaven reveal Himself to them, but they “held that truth in unrighteousness.” Which means, the revelation of God demands repentance. We are to come to the Lord, confessing our sins and turning from sin in repentance to God. But these people obviously rejected this revealed truth and continued in their sinful lives. Soon will come a very devastating spiritual law that God has brought into the world; the law of sowing and reaping.
1:22 Professing themselves to be wise, they became fools,
Commentary:
Any type of wisdom that ignores simple evidence and truth is not wisdom. It’s actually deliberate ignorance. The word “ignorance” literally means that facts have been “ignored.” The question is why? Some people don’t like truth. Some people won’t accept truth to the point they reject truth. Some people flex their intellect saying they are too educated to believe in God or will claim that a belief in God is ignorantly based upon imaginations and assumptions when the clear evidence of God’s existence is presented to them. Bottom line, anyone who can express to be wise while ignoring basic evidence of a Creator, is a fool! The word fool comes from G3471 pronounced moraino, which means to become insipid; to make as a simpleton:–become fool, make foolish, lose savour. This verse goes closely along with Psalm 14:1.
1:23 And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things.
Commentary:
In this verse, the person who “knew God” in verse 21 has now made a moral decision about the truth that has clearly been revealed to them. In essence, they have rejected the truth. Not only have they rejected it, but they have changed the truth. They’ve turned the truth into something else. Specifically, they redefined the glory of the uncorruptible God into an idol. Why is this important? Because an uncorruptible God is holy and righteous and demands the forsaking of our sin and to Him confessing our sins so that He can cleanse and forgive of those sins and unrighteousness. But redefining God by lowering and demeaning Him into something less than He really is makes Him less holy and therefore no accountability is required.
Please do not miss this crucial point. This moral decision comes with consequences. Let it be known and forever understood that no person will say “NO” to God and not be unaffected by it. Rejection of God always ALWAYS has consequences. In this verse we begin to see a spiritual law unfold; and that law is, the Law of Sowing and Reaping. Galatians 6:7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked, for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. In the verse that follow, we plainly see that spiritual law in full effect. When you give God over, God gives you over. When you give God up, God will give you up.
1:24 Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves:
Commentary:
This verse begins what is popularly known as the 3 give ups. The first give up here, the next give up in verse 26, and finally the last give up in verse 28.
This first give up, God gives “them” up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts. It is not made very clear to us what this uncleanness is at this point, other than the fact that “uncleanness” is defined from G167 as “impurity, physically or morally”, but the verse speaks enough to us that the person, having chosen to reject God in their hearts and thereby saying no to God, God has in response to that rejection, judged them and given them a form of judgement and punishment. This form of punishment is evidenced in the fact that the person has very unclean sexual passion that they have never had before. They’ve never had to dealt with before. Sexual perversion is literally a judgment of God on a person. Noticing this verse, since the person changed the glory of God in verse 23, God changed that person. Since that person rejected God, then God turned that person over to a deeper darkness and place in sin that they have never been in before. When you reject the light, then God then gives you a darker darkness.
“Dishonour” means to render infamous, i.e. their own bodies between themselves” refers to a person starting down the path of sexual perversion.
This person is now in the clutches of “Give Up number One.” They are now dealing with the condition of uncleanness that only their rejection of God caused. They are now dealing with sexual passions that are unclean, unrighteous, and totally ungodly. This could mean things like adultery, fornication, bisexual relationships, pornography, and/or having sexual relations with unnatural things just to satisfy the uncontrollable sexual passion and lusts that are warring in the members.
However, at this point there is no mention of homosexuality but will become unmistakable in the following verses.
1:25 Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen.
Commentary:
Instead of simply acknowledging the truth about God and in doing so, acknowledging their lives may need to repent and walk in obedience, these people changed the entire truth about God in their life. They, knowing better because they knew God in verse 21, still changed the truth about God and changed their acknowledgement of God and, instead of worshipping God, worshipped something else rather than God. They basically rejected God by putting something else, which then become an idol, before God.
1:26 For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
Commentary:
Notice this verse very closely. This verse clearly indicates that God has given the person over to a darker darkness than what they were currently in, who is clearly in the clutches of the first give up “Give up Number One” and now because of their rejection of God’s dealing with them again, they have said “No” to God the second time.
Why does God do this? Why does God deal with a person this way? The answer is MERCY! You may be asking, how is this mercy? Because when God draws a person to Himself, deals with them to be saved, and opens the door of salvation to them, when they say NO to God, or openly reject God, then God could immediately remove them from this life and send them to Hell; but He doesn’t! He chooses rather to send wrath or judgment to them just like a judge sends a person convicted of a crime to jail. That jail is meant for that person to sit in a condition or an environment and totally experiencing the effects of their actions of breaking the law. In like manner, God chooses to turn people over to spiritual darknesses in order to show them the results of rejecting Him. God is good! He loves us! He knows we are sinners and miserable in sin. He comes to offer forgiveness, freedom over sin, victory from sin, peace with God, to experience His wonderful grace, enjoy His presence, and live a wonderful life in the New Covenant while on this earth, and finally to enjoy the splendor of Heaven when this life is over. But since the person has rejected God and His goodness, God chooses to show mercy in allowing them to sit in the filth and disgust of sin because of their rejection and rebellion. This condition is meant to reveal to them how rejecting God has consequences. You cannot reject the goodness of God and go on about your life.
Specifically, this verse tells us that “Give Up Number Two” is in fact Homosexuality in women. “For even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature” refers to a woman’s moral decline to the point to where she no longer has natural affection to men, but her morality has been darkened to the point to where she is not only having ungodly sexual desires against her very nature, but she has been “given up” unto this affections. In other words, what held her back from fulfilling homosexual desires before has now been removed. She now has no restraints to walk in homosexuality. This is all a result of rejecting God.
1:27 And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet.
Commentary:
The same condition exists for men, but Paul chooses to separate the thoughts and further explain the condition of men. The men also leaving the natural use of the woman. To be blunt, the natural moral desires of men to women and women to men has been severely altered by the moral decline that has taken place by the sinful act of rejecting God when He deals with a person’s heart to be saved.
Notice further that the men burned in their lust one toward another; men with men. And that this error was “Meet” or an acceptable or necessary punishment for the sin they sinned against God.
Here is where things get the most devastating. As severe as these punishments are, there is one worse. As morally degrading as homosexuality is, it is not the worst. However, let the reader understand, that homosexuality is the results of a person being 2/3 given up by God Himself. As terrible and tragic as that is, there is one last give up, and I would dare to say that no one should welcome this in their lives.
1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;
Commentary:
In this verse lies the final nail in the coffin. When a person, living in the clutches of “Give Up Number 2”, and that meaning, living an active homosexual lifestyle, chooses then to totally reject any further conviction of the Holy Spirit and/or God’s word that proclaims the evil and wickedness of their ways, then God makes a final decision. It’s as if God has said “I have begged and pleaded with you, and you have rejected me. This will be your final decision. This rejection will be your last. If you truly want evil and darkness this much; if you really hate Me and my ways of righteousness so much, then I will give you what you want, but you will have to live with the consequences.”
Because it is in the mind where knowledge resides, then it is the mind that must be affected. So because a person in active homosexuality has said “I don’t want to retain God in my knowledge,” then God grants them their final request. The person’s mind becomes so reprobated that they become completely cut off to righteousness and then all restraint is now gone.
The word Reprobate comes from G96 pronounced ad-ok’-ee-mos which means unapproved, rejected, worthless (literally or morally):–castaway, rejected, reprobate.
1:29 Being filled with all unrighteousness, fornication, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, debate, deceit, malignity; whisperers,
Commentary:
The things that are mentioned in this verse and following are examples of people who have been turned over to a reprobate mind. Again, a person does not simply fall into a reprobate mind; they are “turned over” or “given over” to these things by God Himself. The reason is simple, they rejected Him! This should bring a sense of healthy fear in all of us that we must not reject, resist, or fight against the truth of God’s word or His Spirit or His dealings with us because rejection causes these things!
1:30 Backbiters, haters of God, despiteful, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents,
Commentary:
Notice that out of all of the things mentioned, atheists or “unbelieving” is not mentioned. Our generation is filled with people who claim to not believe in God but it didn’t make this list. The reason is that there are no true atheists. There are people who hate God and make a deliberate choice to not acknowledge Him, but no true atheists.
1:31 Without understanding, covenantbreakers, without natural affection, implacable, unmerciful:
Commentary:
The results of a person “Three Times Given Up” becomes a person that has lost sound mind. They literally are at this point insane. They have no understanding, even simple worldly covenants are out of their ability because covenents are god things. Covenants such as marriage, contracts, loans, and other covenants are rejected because they demand the person have principles in order to keep them. This person with a reprobate mind is now incapable. They have no natural affection; i.e., they cannot have concern for children, even their own, they cannot love parents or family. They have no affection for the unborn or innocent. Implacable which means they cannot keep simple truces and promises to friends or family. They are totally cut off from even the simplest and most obvious principles of morality. They have no mercy
1:32 Who knowing the judgment of God, that they which commit such things are worthy of death, not only do the same, but have pleasure in them that do them.
Commentary:
The final thought before ending this chapter study is this; do you have pleasure in them that do them? What we mean is; you may not show all of these vile things in your own life, but do you have pleasure in them that do? You may not commit adultery, but do you take pleasure in them that do? Pornography? You may not kill or destroy or murder yourself, but do you take pleasure watching it on television or the internet? If we watch these things, are we complicit?
Conclusion:
Although these verses of scripture loudly and clearly reveal the path to and reveal the origin of Homosexuality, there is good news. There is redemption from this lifestyle. I have personally witnessed examples of the moral decline into homosexuality, as well as the positive deliverance from homosexuality. It has everything to do with the way you respond to God. Will you acknowledge Him and the truth of sin in your life to the point of forsaking that life of sin, or will you continue to reject Him?
The choice is ultimately yours. Your homosexual condition is due to how you have negatively responded to God’s call for you to repent. It’s not just an ignoring of God’s dealing, it’s a purposeful and fully knowing rejection and pushing away of God from your life. When God has dealt with you and you’ve continually turned him away, this moral decline into homosexuality is the result. Sadly, there is only one last step to this decline and it doesn’t end well. It ends in you losing totally and completely your knowledge of God by being turned over to a reprobate mind. What a tragedy! What a loss!
How do I know there is hope and deliverance from homosexuality? First because I have personally witnessed that deliverance of someone giving their heart and life over to Jesus Christ and Jesus forgiving and taking away their sin, but secondly, the Bible gives us hope that there is deliverance and freedom from homosexuality.
In 1 Corinthians chapter 6:9; Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God? Be not deceived, neither fornicators, no idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind (G733 pronounced ar-sen-ok-oy’-tace which means sodomite; homosexual, nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God.
And such were some of you; but ye are washed, but ye are sanctified, but ye are justified in the name of the Lord Jesus, and by the Spirit of our God.
Your homosexual lifestyle is an open testimony of your rejection of God in your heart. In order to be delivered from this lifestyle, the rejection of God and His ways must end. Repent and forsake your ways. Acknowledge that God is right and you are wrong. Confess you are a sinner. Earnestly surrender your heart and life to Jesus. Repent of the rejection and rebellion of heart. Ask Jesus to save you and He will. Otherwise, a devastating life in this world awaits, and after a totally miserable eternity results that you’ll never be able to escape.
