God’s Purpose is Greater

Daily Devotional for April 23^rd

Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations. Jeremiah 1:5

The will of God is, bar none, the most compelling life there is!  It’s the most rewarding life there is!  It is also the most rewarding life there is!  The truth is God Himself has created you.  He engineered you in His likeness and His image.  He created you for a purpose!  You’ll never be satisfied until your Creator’s purpose is realized in your life.

Most people go through their life never able to experience a fulfilled life simply because they feel like a satisfying life is based upon their own decisions.  Sadly and without realizing it, most of the world never experiences true fulfillment.  In the attempts to bring fulfillment in their own life, the devil uses their own will to manipulate them into walking in his path.  After this, people wind up enduring a meager existance, simply tolerating life as they know it.

God revealed to Jeremiah His plans and purposes.  God had plans for Jeremiah before He was even formed in the womb.  He would reveal to Jeremiah His purpose in him in His own timing.  Jeremiah would be a prophet to nations!  God’s plans are so much greater than ours!  When we view our impact on the world, we look at the neighborhood while God views the entire world.  The same is with you; God has the right to have a purpose for your life because He is your creator.  His plans will always benefit you if you will walk in them.  God’s blessings will always accompany His will for your life.

Just because others have chosen to walk their own path doesn’t mean that you must also.  The Lord knows what He’s doing.  He only asks that we trust Him,  placing our will in His.  You’ll be gratified with the results.  Ponder God’s creation.  You’re already fearfully and wonderfully made!  Once you surrender to God’s purpose in your life, you’ll never be the same.
